Clergy Conference in Aruba2007-05-17A one-week Clergy Conference is taking place in Aruba, May 19 - 26. Please have the Bishops and Clergy in your prayers as they meet to discuss the life of the Church in the Diocese under the theme:
"Mission and Ministry - Reflecting - Assessing - Planning"
Papers will be presented on the following topics:
- The Mission of the Church
- The PriestShepherd/Pastor
- Living the Resurrected Life
- Anglican Structure and Policy
There will be discussions on:
- Youth Ministry
- Teaching
- Preaching and Living the Faith
- The Anglican Communion
- Lay Training
- Christian Education
- Outreach Programmes...and more
Masses will be held every day at the Church of the Holy Cross and there will be special Evening Services. The people of Aruba are looking forward to this important event in the life of the Church there.
