CONCLUSION

“In youth we learn; in age we understand.”
Marie Ebner von Eschenbach

Despite the challenge and bewilderment over losing one of our executive, most of our mature members have stepped up to the plate and we have come through a most wonderful year.  We have recognised that we must initiate and maintain high standards if we are to survive in the long run and already we can see this paying off.

The achievements in work and witness of the St. Peter’s branch can be attributed to our dedicated executive who functions with one understanding, one accord and one mind.  In the words of one of our executive members: “St. Peter’s (A.Y.P.A.) is a family…” It can also be attributed to our congregation who never fails to support any of our endeavours.

I can honestly say that the period under review has been one where I have gained a fierce respect for this wonderful association that I am proud to represent. I genuinely hope it will keep rising to higher and higher heights, not only in this parish, not only in this island, not only in this diocese but really and truly in and across this entire sphere that God has gifted to mankind!

“There is no point in initiating a good process and failing to maintain it.  Good work must be continued.  That’s why the politicians say one good term deserves another because when people can enjoy the benefits of prosperity such a comfort should not be taken away from them.”
